GROWCONTROLS has been established in the year 1993, with an aim of developing frontier technologies, with innovative technology implementations and core competency in power electronics, and associated fields of metallurgy, mechanical and vacuum fields. We have developed special purpose systems for LASER, plasma, induction and welding areas. We also give consulting, contract research and development in the field of power electronics and magnetic's. We are also in technology development and technology transfer.

The promoters of this organization are experienced scientists, technocrats and technology managers. All are having more than 20 years experience in their respective fields. Having expertise in power electronics in the fields of nuclear research, laser, plasma science and high power converters. In 1993 itself we have successfully developed 120kW chopper based laser power supplies for ND-YAG LASER. We have also developed pulsed power supplies for plasma applications, high voltage ion beam power supplies, medium frequency and radio frequency power supplies for plasma physical vapour and chemical vapour applications.

In power electronics field, we are working on high power inverters, rectifiers and power supplies for industrial and traction applications. At present we are working on IGBT based 750kVA traction converters, 500kW resonant power supplies for induction and plasma applications and capacitor charging systems for resistance welding, LASER and magnetic pulse welding and etc.

We have very good infrastructure for electronics design, assembly and workshop area for fabrication and assembly, in developmental areas of power electronics and vacuum processing applications.

With the expertise we have, we can develop special purpose custom solutions in any of the above fields from "CONCEPT TO PRODUCT" level.
